Qwest
Features

Everything a game team needs, linked together.

Qwest replaces the stack of docs, whiteboards, task trackers and spreadsheets with one tool made for making games.

The essentials

Objects, docs and graphs, together

Objects

Items, enemies and levels as data. A child inherits its parent’s fields and overrides what’s different.

Docs

Design docs with headings, tables, images and embeds, edited live by the whole team with everyone’s cursor.

Graphs

Dialogue trees, quest flows and idea maps, with the speakers and objects they’re about. Press Play to simulate one: variables, conditions, timing and changes to objects, step by step, so designers can try a quest or a fight before it’s built.

Mention an object, a doc or a person anywhere, and every file shows what mentions it.

Management

Tasks, milestones and a calendar that knows your market

Tasks

Boards with lists, points and people, and a weekly hand of cards for each person, sized to the time they have.

Milestones

What “done” means, whether you’re on track, a burn-up, and a post-mortem when you close it.

Calendar

When your launch lands on the day a game in your niche comes out, Qwest suggests the week before. Month and timeline views, with Steam’s events.

Subscribe to the calendar from Google or Apple Calendar, so your dates follow you.

Optional AI

Chat with your whole project as context

The assistant reads your docs, graphs, objects, tasks, milestones and playtests, so it answers about your game. It drafts and edits docs and graphs with you, and reads publisher contracts to fill in their terms.

  • 100% optional: one checkbox turns it off, and Qwest works the same
  • Your own key: Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Mistral, OpenRouter, xAI, DeepSeek, Groq or any OpenAI-compatible provider
  • Your project only goes to the provider you chose
Reviews

Comments on the work itself

Video

Comment on a trailer or a capture frame by frame.

Images

Draw on art, screenshots and references, and comment beside them.

3D models

Turn a model around and pin comments to it.

Audio

Mark a moment in music, voice or sound effects and talk about it there.

Player feedback

Playtests, your community, and Discord

Playtests

Open a round, hand out the build, and ask what you want to learn. Ratings, time played and clips land next to the work.

Community management

A public page for the game: the open playtest, updates, polls and a roadmap, with players’ bugs and ideas in one inbox.

Discord

A bot for your server: players send /bug and /idea to your community inbox, the team makes tasks with /task, and it replies when something’s done.

Market tools

Know who brings players, who to sign with, and who you’re up against

Content creators

Give each streamer, YouTuber or journalist their own tracked link, and see how many people each one brings, day by day.

Publishers

Triage the publishers you could sign with: where talks are at, the terms, pros and cons, and the contracts, which the assistant can read for you.

Steam comparisons

Your game next to the ones in your niche: prices, reviews, release dates and store pages done well.

Market works with Steam for now. We’re looking at other stores next, based on what studios need: tell us which ones you use.

Mobile

Qwest on your phone

It installs as an app on phones and tablets, with a layout made for small screens: a bottom bar, the file tree as a drawer, and panels that open as sheets.

  • Add to Home Screen on iOS, Install app on Android
  • Live editing, comments and the calendar, on the go
  • The same server, the same project, nothing to sync
The extras

The extras we had to put in

Hot potato

Type /potato in the cursor chat. Touch another cursor to pass it on; whoever holds it at the bang takes the task.

Votes with your cursor

/zones turns the options into islands: park your cursor on the one you want. /pitch and /budget let everyone pitch ideas or spread 100 coins, revealed together.

Plugins in JavaScript

Anyone on the team can write a plugin in plain HTML and JavaScript. The qwest API reads and changes the project, within the permissions an owner grants.

A soundboard in the cursor chat

/quack, /laugh and /siren, heard by everyone on the page, and /ping to call them over. Because, why not? (/mute if you’ve had enough.)

Also in every project: live cursors and undo on everything, Ctrl K to jump to any file, nine games in the cursor chat, and workspaces with teams and guests.

Make the game, not the tool stack.

The whole team, one price, yours to keep.
