Made for game developers, and only them.

General-purpose tools have to answer to marketing teams, lawyers, HR and sales all at once. Qwest only has game teams to answer to. Every feature we build, every update we ship and every support reply we write is about making games: playtests, Steam, builds, dialogue, launch dates. Nothing in it is there for someone else’s job.

Questions

What does “keep the last version forever” mean?

Your license never stops working. When your year of updates ends, you keep running the last version it covered, and can renew to get newer ones.

Does Qwest need to be on the internet?

No. It runs fully on a server your team is connected to, like a studio network or a VPN, without being published to the web. The license is activated once over the internet, and that can be done from another device.

Do I have to use AI?

No, it’s 100% optional: if you don’t want it, it’s one checkbox away. If you do, bring your own key from Anthropic, OpenAI, Google Gemini, Mistral, OpenRouter, xAI, DeepSeek, Groq or any OpenAI-compatible provider. Nothing goes to a model you didn’t pick.

Who counts as a person on Studio?

Owners, admins and members of a workspace. Guests, like contractors, publishers and playtesters, are free.
